Like Nixon in '68, Needle Time has its first previously-defeated, now victorious nominee -- the Sonics' 2015 basher, This Is The Sonics. Let's hope we don't have to impeach this record.

Josh Spieker nominated the album, so we'll hear from him soon enough about this album. There's lots of stuff to talk about here: Pacific Northwest Garage Rock, old men who still rock, long-dormant bands, and whether This Is The Sonics or These Are The Sonics is grammatically correct (and especially when a previous album was titled Here Are The Sonics).
